My first day in EN-100W. I am very nervous. I am more than likely the youngest here. I am still trying to get use to the environment. The other students seem nice. We started by discussing as a class about a descriptive essay. Now we must write one. Today I took a test, a long test. Started writting my essay about Bellow's Beach in Hawaii. I don't know much about writting essay's, although I love to read. I hope I can strive for excellence in this class, especially working before class and after. The requirements for my classes and jobs are intemidating. This class will teach me alot!

I agree with you. It's been awhile since I went to school, and I'm sitting in with many young people. I also don't know much about writing or I don't like writing at all but I hope I can get lots of knowledge out of this class
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the knowlegde part she only given thing and site to go if we need help... To me I think that a teacher sould break down and show some stratergies on writing an essay. as for you shiness don't worry will all break out of that someday...
ReplyDelete@jarrettglenn. i felt that same way, i attended GCC when i was 16yrs for 3semesters. who knew i'd be back?! haha but here i am! and its only been two weeks and it feels great to be back in school. gonna soak up all the knowledge i possible can.
